About Us & FAQs

We want to bring back Olympus Trip 35 cameras!

We love them because they are:

  • cool - they look and work great - with a fantastic, sharp f2.8 Zuiko lens
  • built to last - made of metal
  • eco-friendly - they don't need batteries
  • compact and good to take on trips
  • not expensive - everyone can afford one!

We want to recycle Trips so that they are available again for the next generation. We want to keep 35mm film alive too.

Frequently Asked Questions - FAQs

Q. How long will it take to deliver my camera?                                                  A. About 10 - 14 working days is the current estimate. We prepare each camera individually for you when you place your order.  Small orders for accessories only should be delivered within about 7 - 10 days. We will always try to deliver earlier than these estimates, but we are often busy with multiple orders.

If you are an overseas customer, it will take a little longer. If you want an update or delivery estaimate on your order, contact us on info@tripman.co.uk

Q. Could you repair/service my own trip please, rather than buying a camera from you?
A.  Sorry, we do not currently offer a repair service. We are happy to take your camera in part exchange. I can recommend a guy who does a brilliant job at dismantling and refurbishing Trips. Look on his e-bay shop called ' Streetshooters'.  http://shop.ebay.co.uk/fatluckdigi/m.html?_dmd=1

Q. I'm looking for a Trip accessory/43.5mm filter that is not shown on your web site. Do you stock other items?

A. Yes we have lots of other accessories and filters not listed here. We have leather cases, many different filters etc. Just send us an enquiry if you are looking for something: info@tripman.co.uk

Q. What is the difference between an early and a late Trip 35?

Earlier Trips have a silver shutter button; later models have black buttons. Inside the camera there are a number of differences, as the camera evolved over time, parts were made from different materials. Earlier models are a fraction heavier because of the components. Early models tend to be a little more expensive due to their being harder to find in good working order. Both models are built to last though and will produce the same excellent results.
