Trip Man
Early Trip 35 Special Edition Black Leather
A nice silver button Olympus Trip 35, built in September 1977 with our new special edition black leather.
This camera has a serial number of 2928464 and the film plate has a date code B 7 - 9.
The special edition black cowhide leather is one which has been selected by Trip Man to reflect the leather used in 1960 by Olympus on their Olympus Pen S.
This is the leather I have fitted on my own personal Trip 35. It is my favourite leather and has been exclusively produced for us by Darron Barnes at Milly's Cameras (just 11 miles from us in Hampshire). We only have a limited supply of this leather. It provides a wonderful grip and is very comfortable in the hands.
This camera is in lovely original condition, with good black paintwork. There are some signs of use, just some nice patina and light bright marks- see photos of the actual camera for sale.
We have completed a full service and cleaned inside and out, and fully tested the light meter and shutter. The red flag pops up when the light is too low. New light seals have been fitted and it is ready to use. Has film speed of up to 400 ASA.
The 40mm Zuiko lens is lovely and clear, free from marks, scratches, dust or fungus. The viewfinder has also been cleaned and is nice and bright and clear.
Supplied with Trip Man 12 month warranty.
