Trip 35 spare parts

We have added a number of spare parts to our sales catalogue. We occasionally get requests for parts from owners of Trips, partly due to some breakages or loss of these small parts.

Trips are reliable but accidents do happen and there are times when a replacement part can easily restore a camera to the original working condition.

One example is the viewfinder eyepiece. If the camera experiences a small knock, the small plastic part can get damaged or come off the camera. It is an easy fix by just adding a small amount of glue to attach the spare part. Just make sure you quickly wipe away any excess glue.

Frame counters can seize or stop working - it is an issue if the camera hasn't been  used for a long time. Or sometimes the small spring in the counter mechanism comes off after the camera has a knock or is dropped. Replacing the mechanism is the easy fix - just 2 screws hold the part in place, once you have removed the Trip's top plate, which is held on with 3 small screws.

Our replacement parts are taken from cameras that we are breaking up. Some cameras are not always repairable or are cosmetically too poor, so we use them for spares rather than see them wasted. We have built up an excess of these spare parts over the years.

What we are offering on the website is just a small selection of what we think would be useful to the average Trip owner. But if someone would like other parts, we can almost certainly help. Please do contact us if you need something specific, e.g. a new lens assembly or aperture blades.
